Well, I haven’t blogged in a little while. I took a pre-fall hiatus. But there is so much crazy, great styling happening right now I had to post something. Wearing black in general as everyone knows is the most flattering & smart way to style yourself. So to pop on a second color is just a little something extra. Stock up on some new black essentials, you’ll be glad ya did.

I, like many of you out there, carry around a duffle bag everyday as your handbag. It’s adorable and I love it but most of the bag is stuffed with old receipts I keep in effort to write down my expenses and makes my back hurt. So, I’ve been feeling the clutch lately. Hands down- it’s simplified my life. Coupled with being handmade and in bright colors I am one happy lady- running around town all simplified and organic!

Well guess what today is…. It’s 14 hours of pure sunshine with a 10 minute burn rate. Just heard that on the news. So with that said, I’ll be putting on my bathing suit now. I am really feeling 2 looks for the beach/pool for the summer, the first being the ethnic look. The second look involves pineapples and stripes…I’ll show you my favorites of that look next week!
Have a great weekend & a fabulous longest day of the year.

I love dates and I love the farmer’s market. Sometimes I don’t feel like finding another outfit so why not style yourself once for both occasions! Add a cute hat for the daytime and slide on a sandal so you can wander for the afternoon.
This dress is breezy enough so you won’t feel all covered up for the summertime. Now go by yourselves some peaches!

No better way to start the week than with a new pair of shoes. I’ve been eyeing the bright red sandals for something a little bit different. Remember you don’t have to match these shoes with a red top or dress. Try and wear with neutrals to let your sandals make the statement!

Jumpsuit round 2. Now I’m going to show you how to wear the same jumpsuit but casual. I went with the hippie vibe and added a head scarf, stacked on some bracelets & took off the blazer. I know everyone doesn’t want to wear a head scarf this way but there are many other ways to tie one, this is a great tutorial.
Okay, that’s all for now!
The jumpsuit. I’ve been talking about this word for a while and I still don’t think it’s time to change topics. I found this one at Forever 21 and can’t wear it enough. It’s amazing because the torso is long enough for me and doesn’t look like my pants are where they’re not supposed to be. (Don’t be jealous that I have a long torso and short legs, seriously, I know how lucky I am). To define your waist better it’s a good idea to belt this but if you’re feeling all relaxed and don’t care if you have a waist or not because you have a jumpsuit on and that’s all that matters then go for it. I chose to style this little get up with some insanely high heels and a blazer to wear to something a little more professional. Tomorrow I’ll show you how I wore this to go out for the daytime with a little more of a hippie vibe.

I went to the Ranger’s game last night and true to form, I didn’t watch much of the game. I people (style) watched like crazy. (Sorry if anyone caught me staring at them, I wasn’t staring though I was admiring) For the most part people wear a Ranger’s shirt but that’s what makes those that are creative with their outfit stand out even more. My favorite outfits from last night were simple dresses like this blue Madewell dress and the rolled denim shorts with simple, comfortable shirts. Many people want to be comfortable, which I totally get. Nobody wants to be sweating in too tight jeans in their small seat. But these are very comfortable options with out looking hillbillyesque!
