I went to the Ranger’s game last night and true to form,  I didn’t watch much of the game.  I people (style) watched like crazy. (Sorry if anyone caught me staring at them, I wasn’t staring though I was admiring)  For the most part people wear a Ranger’s shirt but that’s what makes those that are creative with their outfit stand out even more.  My favorite outfits from last night were simple dresses like this blue Madewell dress and the rolled denim shorts with simple, comfortable shirts.  Many people want to be comfortable, which I totally get.  Nobody wants to be sweating in too tight jeans in their small seat.  But these are very comfortable options with out looking hillbillyesque!

Holy Sandal Season.  There are so many shoes out there that are purchase worthy, I had to just pile them on the page.  First I thought I could show y’all a trend within the sandal classification- But I couldn’t leave out some of these fabulous finds! So, I’ll just mention a couple trends to look out for when purchasing your pedicure worthy, toe baring shoes.
1.The first trend to call out is the band.  It was hard to not find a banded sandal.  Most with a band at the top of your foot & with a color block option.
2.The second trend is shine.  A lot of shiny shoes, kids.  Don’t be afraid to wear these either…You don’t have to match them with anything, actually try to avoid matching a shiny pink shoe to a shiny pink shirt.  Might be a tad bit overboard (Please don’t do that). Instead just throw on a pair of bright metallic sandals with a neutral ensemble to give that pop of color.
I want to also mention my favorite sandal on the page which is the Loeffler Randall whimsically amazing star sandal.  I mean, if that doesn’t say buy me right now & dance around with a sparkler I just don’t even know who you are.
Okay, y’all have a fabulous weekend!  I am off to share my love of the summer wardrobe to others! Oh and I love these sandals as well…I can’t stop!

Hi, Y’all!

Well it’s officially hot out.  Full blown mosquito filled evenings. So I have switched over to linen, sequins & bandeau tops. (I bought this bandeau for Lollapalooza last year bc I thought if I didn’t have one on they wouldn’t let me in #festivalstyle) (I had to look the part since I only knew like 4 bands) But I have gotten SO much wear out of it. Solid choice to pick one of these up…just to wear as a layering piece.

This skirt has a light linen back but even if it didn’t it could still be styled with a casual tank similar to what I’m wearing or even more basic to make it a fun daytime outfit.

Hi Y’all!

I have been playing this game called how many ways can I wear a jcrew v-neck.  Everybody likes the laid back look with an easy tee so here is one extra outfit idea.  Pair your tee with a maxi skirt and jazz it up with some jewelry or wear as is.  I paired with my booties but will work with some wedges or flats.  I also found this insanely long string and kept wrapping it around my head until I officially had a headpiece.

Hi Y’all!
Today I am feelin’ the citrus + neutral combo.  You can add as little as citrus finger nails or a full blown maxi skirt.  But this hot color for the summer is even better when paired with this nude neutral.  Inspired from the Runway but street ready is the idea here so try out these colors this week!

Happy Friday Everyone!
No better way to start out the weekend then with your favorite looks from Madewell.  Honestly, I get so much inspiration from the styling with this store.  They’re pretty much on point All. The. Time.  So I pulled my favorite wearable looks of the season for y’all.
A major trend this summer is the cropped top and as much as I love this, I sadly will not be running around town in one of those. (I DID do crossfit this morning for the 1st time thanks to my friend, Jessica.) This option is much more doable with a cute little cut out in the back.  Mainly just look for a boxy woven shape to translate as your crop top.  And if you can wear a cropped top…you go girl. (must be under 40 and work out (and not just say you work out)) Not trying to be mean but you’re going to hate those pictures. Anywho.  Hope yall love these looks as much as I do!!
Have a great weekend!

Happy Monday! Today is National Cowboy Tuxedo Day!  At least it is on Cotton Glitter…not sure who I’m supposed to talk to to get that on the calendar. Anyways, this is why I am sporting denim on denim topped off with a big belt buckle & bolo tie.  Nothing is better than that….except for being armed in the picture with a pearl handle pistol.  I don’t normally have Texas themed outfits but today I was inspired by American made, Acoustic Denim to do a little Texas mix and match.  My pants are a railroad stripe denim so I couldn’t decide if I wanted to style them with a great floral  blouse to do my print mixing or chambray.  Chambray won.

Also a big trend I’ve been wearing has been the bolo tie layered with other necklaces…You can find these at thrift stores for super cheap if ya feel like trying it out!

Caution going to the bathroom in groups when wearing this trend.  I always forget I’m wearing this & the process it takes to get off.  Love the jumpsuit though so it’s well worth it.  High end to low end seem to be carrying this item for the Spring & Summer in knits, wovens, strapless, long sleeves & skinny straps, prints & solids.  If you feel a bit out there when trying this trend then add a layering pieces such as a denim jacket or long cardigan. Add a heel if you want to wear this out for the evening or a flat to just hop around town in the afternoon.
Happy Jumpsuiting.
